One of the most frequently asked questions we answer is “Can I clean my Branding?”, and every now and then “Can you please reprint my Branding that I tried to clean but stuffed up?”. That old chestnut.

Of course, the answer to both is a resounding yes.

Cleaning your branding is a very simple and easy process but needs to be done with care. Below is a guide for cleaning your Dye Sublimated Branding items.

Using a Washing Machine

Machine

If your banners are small enough to fit in a washing machine that's first prize. Banners can be machine washed in cold water, on a gentle cycle, with mild soap and cold water, no bleach. With most machines this is as simple as a few button presses and that's it.

Manual Washing

Hand Wash

If you can’t fit the banner(s) in your washer then you’ll need to manually wash them, whether you’re hanging them or washing them in a large tub. No matter which route you take, make sure to use cold water and mild detergent.

The Right Way to Dry Washed Fabric Banners

Once you’ve washed your dye sub banners, the best practice is to hang them up to dry. The best place to leave them to dry is on the frame. This will also prevent the slight chance of shrinkage. Make sure the banners are completely dry before taking them down and storing them. Remove creases with a steam iron if necessary.
